AJ Styles Shares That He’ll Be Helping With WWE ID Program

Styles to assist with WWE ID.

During WrestleMania 42 weekend, A.J. Styles was one of the names inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Styles’ final match took place at the 2026 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, where he fell in defeat to GUNTHER. Coming off being inducted into the Hall of Fame, Styles was interviewed by Sam Roberts and Megan Morant for the WWE Now: WrestleMania Recap podcast.

When asked to further elaborate on what’s next for him post-in-ring career, he mentioned that he’ll be helping with the WWE I.D. program.

“Uh, wow. You know, I’m wearing a couple of different hats right now and we’ll see which one sticks, and things change, quite often, and so, when I get too busy to do all these different hats that I’m trying to wear, and I have to focus on one, I’ll let you know which one that is. But it is recruiting, it is working with WWE ID. That’s a big part of the things that I know a lot about — the independents — and I know there’s a lot of talent like me who didn’t have a lot of money so, if we can get them a little bit more experience and a little bit more cash in their pockets, they’re able to get that, it’ll be a big thing for them.”

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque shared that Styles sat in on creative and production meetings and figured that was not the lane for him.

A WWE I.D. Showcase event was held on April 16th, and the results can be read here.
