At WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar faced Oba Femi in the latter’s debut on the show. It was a short match, and Oba managed to emerge victorious.
Post-match, Lesnar left his wrestling gloves and boots in the ring. WWE commentary acknowledged that this might be him calling it a career.
Lesnar’s long-term friend, Kurt Angle, tweeted the following after the match:
“Love you my brother. There will only be one like you. Enjoy retirement Brock.”
Angle and Lesnar have a long history together. They headlined WrestleMania 19, where Lesnar defeated Angle for the WWE Championship.
