Rhea Ripley Ends Jade Cargill’s Reign As WWE Women’s Champion At WrestleMania 42

A new WWE Women’s Champion.

On the marquee for night two of WrestleMania 42 was the WWE Women’s Championship match between Rhea Ripley and the champion Jade Cargill.

Cargill had been in possession of the belt since November 2025.

During the bout, Cargill’s allies Michin and B-Fab showed up. Michin distracted the referee while B-Fab pulled Cargill out of a Razor’s Edge. While the referee was talking to Jade, Michin kicked Ripley’s head into the LED ring post.

Jade went on to hit Ripley with a One Winged Angel, but it only got her a two-count.

As B-Fab and Michin continued to get involved, IYO SKY showed up and fought them off. The match concluded with Ripley countering ‘Jaded’ into a Riptide to defeat Cargill and capture the WWE Women’s Championship.
