CM Punk Isn’t Taking A Vacation, Plans On Staying Ready For A Title Shot; Cody Rhodes Shows Off Massive Black Eye

CM Punk breaks his silence.

After losing his World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42, Punk came out to the ring and addressed the recent string of personal losses that have affected him personally, including Larry. Punk was quick to thank fans for helping him heal and process his grief throughout his title reign.

Continuing on, Punk noted that he’s going to stay ready because you never know when a championship opportunity is going to fall from the sky. Before he could leave the ring, Cody Rhodes interrupted and hit the ring with insanely black eye.

Punk encouraged Rhodes through his somber mood, reminding him that he is a winner when it comes to WrestleMania results specifically. With his head held high, Punk once again noted that he’s going to stay ready in case a title opportunity comes his way. This time, he was eyeing Rhodes and his WWE Championship.

As he was heading up the ramp, Rhodes told Punk to name his time and place for a title shot.
