Sting speaks on Darby Allin winning the AEW World Title
Darby Allin captured the AEW World Title on the April 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, defeating MJF.
Before heading out to the ring, Allin was greeted by Sting, who gave him a pep talk, closing with, “It’s not showtime. It’s your time.”
In new footage shot after Allin’s title victory, Sting is celebrating with Allin and says, “I told him years ago that he is World Championship calibre and he proved it tonight. The rest is history. It’s not showtime, it’s Darby time. I’m proud of him like he’s my son, yeah.”

Not only will Allin speak on the April 22 episode of Dynamite, he is also set to defend the AEW World Title against Tommaso Ciampa.
