At the event this past weekend, Lesnar would face off with Oba Femi in a much awaited singles bout, with Femi walking away with the victory in under a minute. Brock would then leave his gloves and boots in the ring, waving to fans as he walked up the ramp in an angle that signified his potential retirement from pro wrestling.
While speaking to Adrian Hernandez in a new interview, Tiffany Stratton was asked about her fellow Minnesota native’s potential retirement from in ring competition.
“I don’t know. When I saw Brock on unlace his boots, I almost shed a tear. I was sad for him. He looked like he started crying a little bit too. He’s just a boy. It’s his first time living too. So hopefully it’s not his last match. Hopefully in SummerSlam in Minnesota we’ll get to see him. I think that would be iconic, retiring in your hometown. But yeah, I’m really sad but happy for him.”
Stratton recently became the number one contender for the WWE Women’s US title. You can read more about that here.
