Cody Rhodes Says He Rushed Through WrestleMania 39 Match From A Mental Standpoint

Cody Rhodes admits that he rushed through his first WrestleMania main event.

In the past, Rhodes has crowned his WrestleMania 39 match with Roman Reigns as his favorite match of his career. Despite loving the match, ‘The American Nightmare’ recently admitted that he rushed through the moment/match from a mental standpoint.

“I think the first WrestleMania that I had done the main event, that was WrestleMania 39. Every bit of it, I rushed through mentally. I was moving to the next thing and what was supposed to be next, whatever it may be. I didn’t — I remember being disappointed that I didn’t really take the time, especially on the walk, on the way down. I don’t know if you guys know this, sorry if it takes a little while to get to the ring, but that’s what I like to do because I want to be here in this moment. You should already have everything ready and loaded and it’s there and you can forget and you’re back in it. I like to be present, I like to make eye contact.” Rhodes told Liv Morgan on the latest episode of What Do You Wanna Talk About?

After getting punted by Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42, Rhodes recently confirmed that he will not be losing his eye. Learn more by clicking here.
