Stephanie McMahon: “Daniel Bryan Wouldn’t Sell My Slaps… I Was Trying Everything I Could & He Didn’t Do Sh*t”

Stephanie McMahon remembers Bryan Danielson not selling her slaps.

During Stephanie McMahon’s 2026 WWE Hall of Fame induction video package, there was a compilation of slaps she’s delivered throughout her on-screen career.

She spoke about that on her What’s Your Story? podcast. McMahon remembered those who did not sell her slaps, and one of the individuals was Bryan Danielson.

“Daniel Bryan wouldn’t sell my slaps either, and I was slapping him with the right and then I started slapping him with the left,” McMahon laughed. “I was trying everything I could and he didn’t do sh*t.”

Danielson has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2021. Present day, he’s involved behind the scenes and does commentary.
