Nick Jackson: “What Da Dog Doing?”

Nick Jackson debuts a new catchphrase on BTE that is a callback to a social media post from September of last year.

Catchphrases are a normal thing in pro wrestling, with both heels and faces coming up with their own over the years, leaving several superstars with iconic lines that fans will chant back during promos. Now, an AEW name has given a fan suggested catchphrase a whirl.

In a new clip from BTE’s YouTube channel, Nick Jackson would quote a social media post from September of 2025 where a fan would suggest Nick adopt a ‘What Da Dog Doin?’ catchphrase so he can chase the AEW World Championship.

“Yeah, what da dog doing? What da dog doing? What da dog do? Maybe there’s something to that.”

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) have been in the midst of a feud with the Don Callis Family, facing off with Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada at AEW Dynasty.

In a BTE mailbag spot earlier this year, Nick revealed that Matt Jackson had previously pitched The Young Bucks to begin wearing trunks instead of long pants in the ring. You can read more about that here.
