Cody Rhodes Says He’s ‘Unique Friends’ With Pat McAfee After WrestleMania 42

Cody Rhodes updates fans on his relationship with Pat McAfee.
McAfee is completely out of the wrestling business after Randy Orton lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. With the assurance that he won’t have to see McAfee in WWE again, ‘The American Nightmare’ believes that he is now “unique friends” with the former punter.
“I thought I did pretty well by I didn’t damage anything too important, maybe his laptop and a photo of him and Randy Orton. All of this boils down to the fact that Pat has like 30 people in that studio and Dabone, one of his 30 yes men, let me in the room. So hey, if had a better security there — he needs to be here. He needs to be doing the show from here, it’s secure here. But yeah, I got my title. Back, got my lick back. Me and Pat are, we’re unique friends now I think.” Rhodes said while chatting with ESPN SportsCenter.
Elsewhere in the interview, Rhodes talked about pitching an eyepatch gimmick to Triple H. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
