Ridge Holland Gives Update On Giving Back GoFundMe Money

Ridge Holland still plans to give back the money that was donated to him.

Last year, Ridge Holland announced that WWE would not renew his contract. He was sidelined due to an injury at that time, and said he may not be able to pay his mortgage. A GoFundMe was set up by Holland’s mother, which he wasn’t initially aware of. He later announced that once he recoups the donation money, he would donate that amount to charity.

During a recent interview with Sportshadow Wrestling, Holland reiterated that he still plans on donating the funds to charity or paying back the fans who contributed to the GoFundMe campaign once he recoups the amount.

“So the plan is, as soon as I can recoup the money that was donated, I will be giving that money. I will be giving an opportunity to give it to charity. I’ll give it back to the individuals that donated. That’s still in the pipeline. That’s still a plan of mine that when I get that money, I recoup that money, and I have that money spare, I will be giving that money back.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Holland said he doesn’t regret his social media posts about WWE. Fans can check his comments here.
