Carlos Silva Explains Why TNA Slammiversary Is In Boston, Hopes To Return To UBS Arena In 2027

In March, TNA President Carlos Silva jumped the gun a bit, saying that TNA Slammiversary would be back at UBS Arena. That didn’t come to fruition as it was later announced that the event would be held at Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.
Speaking to Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, Silva explained the decision to run the event in Boston.
“You look at what happened last year at UBS Arena, the energy and excitement, it was great. We’re very thankful for their partnership. We’re going to go up to Boston. We all know what’s going to happen in New York around the World Cup, it’s going to be crazy, so we had to pivot. We’re going to Boston and it’s going to be a little easier. We’ll be back in New York. We may even be back at UBS. They were a great partner. We’d love to figure something out with them for 2027,” he said.
The World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19 in multiple cities, including New York.
