Paul Wight: I Would Love To Have A Great Heel Run And Work Darby Allin, I Can Only Imagine The Carnage I Could Do With Darby

Paul Wight discusses two names on the AEW roster he would like to face off with in the future.

Wight is no stranger to previously working with the underdogs of the world of professional wrestling, including Rey Mysterio, who he had brutalized in several ways during feuds. Now, he has turned his attention to another talent of smaller stature in the current AEW World Champion, Darby Allin.

While speaking to Under The Mat with Simon Miller, Paul Wight was asked who he would still like to work with in wrestling, naming Kenny Omega and Darby Allin.

“So when I look at our AEW roster, even though he’s not a younger cat, he’s still somebody that I’ve had respect with for a long time, Kenny Omega. Kenny and I, I think Kenny is one I would think like, man, I would love to either tag with Kenny or to compete against Kenny. I would love to have a great heel run and work Darby. Oh, my God. Because I could sling Darby’s guts all over the place. Like, even the old school one where I slammed Rey into the ring post when he was tied to the stretcher. I can only imagine the carnage I could do with Darby.”
