Jacob Fatu Stands Tall Over Roman Reigns In Contract Signing Segment On WWE Raw

Jacob Fatu stands tall before Backlash.

The show closed with the Backlash contract signing segment between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. After getting the Omaha fans to acknowledge him, Reigns touted the respect that he gets from the audience before saying that he’ll be damned if he doesn’t get the same love from his family.

Reigns proceeded to question Fatu’s use of the Tongan Death Grip, saying that he shouldn’t use that move on his family or his Tribal Chief. Fatu fired back by saying that he had no other choice as he felt like his back was against the wall.

After the contract was signed, the ‘OTC’ responded to Fatu’s dedication to his household by saying that he’s been feeding multiple households and looking after multiple generations for years. Reigns went on and said that Fatu is beneath him when it comes to the squared circle.

This sent Fatu into a fit of rage, as he tried to apply the Tongan Death Grip again. After trading reversals, Fatu eventually put Reigns through a table before signing the Backlash contract himself.
