Knight has had a hectic career so far in AEW, facing off with several of the companies top names, now being set to challenge Darby Allin for the AEW World Title on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
While speaking to Bodyslam.net, Kevin Knight was asked about one talent in AEW that he would still like to mix it up with in the ring, noting that Kenny Omega is the litmus test to see if you’re the next best in the world in the ring.
“I would have to say Kenny Omega. Kenny Omega would be number one person that I haven’t mixed it up with that I’m like, that’s like the benchmark. That’s the litmus test, you know, to see if you’re the next best in the world because he set the standards so high just with his New Japan run and obviously with the things that he’s done in AEW, you know, the cleaner, that guy is like the standard, and if you could stand in the ring with him, get his approval, man, ain’t no stopping you. The world is yours.”
