Sting And Tony Schiavone Honor Ted Turner To Kick Off AEW Dynamite
Sting and Tony Schiavone kick off AEW Dynamite with a tribute to Ted Turner.
This week’s show opened with Tony Schiavone in the ring. Schiavone spoke briefly about Turner’s passing and his history with the sport of wrestling. After touting Turner’s passion and his relationship with the fans, Schiavone then introduced Sting.
Sting praised Turner for being an “all in billionaire” that loved professional wrestling. ‘The Icon’ also recalled a story where despite being in the red financially, Ted Turner told wrestlers to keep doing what they were doing because he has deep pockets.
The segment ended with Sting and Schiavone leading a ten bell salute in the ring.
