Lizzy Rain Loves Her WWE Theme Song, Says It Has A Similar Vibe To Van Halen’s ‘Hot For Teacher’

Lizzy Rain is a huge fan of her entrance music.

Following her debut in April, Rain has quickly established a huge fanbase in NXT. Her entrance music has attracted many fans, as it stands out from a pool of other theme songs that some would refer to as generic.

Speaking with the Ropes N’ Riffs podcast, Lizzy Rain talked about how the song came together.

“So, being a part of the WWE, we have all our own music in-house. I was sent loads of different songs. I went through them all and as soon as I heard the guitar riff, I said, ‘This sounds like it’s got a vibe of Hot For Teacher and I love that song. I feel like it’s really relatable and lots of people like that song.’ Then I thought, over this guitar riff and one of the creative team [members] said, ‘Why don’t we do like a rock thing over the top of it live? Like you can say something before you come out.’ I thought, that’s it, that’s got to be it. I’m really happy with my theme song in the WWE, I love it. I love that I get to have a live little promo before I come out. Yeah, I think it’s really cool.”
