John Cena Says He Was Recently Diagnosed With Demodex Blepharitis

John Cena details his battle with Demodex Blepharitis.
While speaking with PEOPLE Magazine for a new interview, Cena revealed his recent diagnosis with the eye condition, which is caused by an infestation of microscopic parasites that live in hair follicles. Cena noted that his symptoms included redness and itchiness in his eyes.
Cena was able to shut down most of the symptoms after a visit to the eye doctor, where he prescribed with prescription eye drops.
“Now, I still need my readers, but I don’t have that redness, that itchiness and certainly not waking up with the crusties.”
According to the National Institutes Of Health, Demodex Blepharitis affects roughly 25 million Americans.
