AJ Styles Says He Doesn’t Want To Get Involved With WWE Creative

AJ Styles doesn’t want to be involved in the “storyline committee” in WWE.

On the latest episode of The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, Styles and Tony Giles were discussing the WWE Backlash Premium Live Event.

Giles said he didn’t think CM Punk should’ve lost the title to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42, and that Punk vs. Jacob Fatu would’ve been a great storyline. Giles then noted that he’s not a WWE insider, so he doesn’t have any information about the creative process.

Styles said he works there, but still doesn’t know anything. He is focused only on his role at the moment, and doesn’t want to get involved with creative.

“I work for WWE, and I don’t know anything. But that’s not my job. My job is not to know what we’re doing next with that. My job is specific to what is for AJ Styles, and that’s not it. So, I don’t worry myself with it. I don’t need that job, nor do I want to be part of the storyline committee or whatever that is. No that’s not what I want to do.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Styles corrected his Wikipedia page. Fans can read his comments here.
