Blake Monroe says that she was nicknamed ‘Triple M’ in school due to her wrestling fandom.

Monroe has long been known to be a lifelong pro wrestling fan, particularly always dreaming of becoming a WWE superstar, which she achieved last year when she signed with the promotion.

While speaking to Vicente Beltran in a new interview, Blake Monroe spoke about having a nickname inspired by Triple H while she was in school.

“Now I get to work with Triple H. Based off of my real life name, my nickname at school was Triple M because everyone was like, ‘She’s the wrestling fan,’ and then everybody watched WWE, so we knew John Cena, Batista, Triple H, everyone. So I was Triple M. I’m so excited to work with him. I’ve been at SmackDown. I haven’t debuted yet, but every week it’s possible. I see how hands-on he is in terms of producing matches or things that he wants. I’m really excited to kind of get that knowledge, and I think I’m really lucky to have access to that and to have access to these people who have had such amazing careers. Now they’re gonna share a bit of knowledge with The Glamour.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Blake spoke about Asuka’s recent storyline in WWE. You can read more about that here.
