Netflix touts the viewership number for Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano.

Netflix announced, “7 million global viewers tuned in to watch Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano on Netflix, averaging 12.4 million viewers across the triple main event!”

MVP MMA 1 took place on Saturday, May 16 and was headlined by Rousey vs. Carano. The bout lasted 17 seconds with Rousey winning by armbar.

The co-main event saw Mike Perry stop Nate Diaz in the second round due to cuts. Francis Ngannou scored a KO victory over Phillipe Lins and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos also competed on the card.

This was the first MMA event to be promoted by Netflix. The event was promoted under the MVP banner, which is run by Jake Paul. Paul has previously fought multiple times on Netflix, with his fight against Mike Tyson drawing an average of 108 million live global viewers.
