Nattie Says She Pitched A Women’s Gauntlet Match At WrestleMania For Three Straight Years
Nattie has always been a big supporter of the women in WWE and across all of wrestling. So much so that she constantly pitches for herself and others on the grandest stage.
“One thing, when I pitch ideas and it really helps, be inclusive. I make sure lots of women are included,” Nattie said on Busted Open Radio.
Chelsea Green, who was a guest on the show, confirmed Nattie’s willingness to involve others, saying, “Nattie is the queen of that. Every WrestleMania, Nattie is the number one pitcher for a women’s battle royal or multi-women tag match. Every year.”
Nattie continued, “Three years in a row, I went to Vince (McMahon) and said, ‘I want to do a women’s gauntlet match. The winner of the gauntlet match gets to face the tag team champions the next night. I want to do a women’s fatal four-way where it’s four tag teams fighting for the title.’ I just want to get more women on the show all the time.”
WWE never did a women’s gauntlet on night one that went into night two, but they have done more multi-women’s tag team matches on WrestleMania.
Elsewhere during the interview, Chelsea Green commented TJ Wilson advocating for her. You can find her full comments here.
