Daria Rae: If I Return To The Ring, I Would Want To Wrestle Tessa Blanchard

Daria Rae speaks highly of Tessa Blanchard’s in-ring ability.

TNA Wrestling on-screen authority figure Daria Rae, f.k.a. Sonya Deville, has not wrestled since February 2025, when she was still under contract to WWE.

While doing a virtual signing for East Coast Autograph Auctions, Rae was asked for her thoughts about fellow TNA roster member Tessa Blanchard. Rae said there aren’t many women who are as sharp as Blanchard is in the ring. Rae added that if she were to wrestle again, she’d want to share the ring with Tessa.

“There’s not many women in the world that are sharper in the ring than Tessa (Blanchard), and that’s in all my experience and everyone that I’ve worked with. She is on her A-game. She’s just sharp. She’s someone that I would wanna share the ring with if I return to the ring. But I can’t because I’m a boss and I’m a professional, and I’m a classy broad that is just running the house over at TNA.”

Elsewhere during the signing, Rae revealed that her contract with TNA is up in June.
