Rico Says He Wanted To Wrestle At AEW WrestleDream 2024

Rico made a surprise appearance at AEW WrestleDream 2024, joining MxM Collection (Mason Madden & Mansoor) as they battled The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens).

The Acclaimed were managed by Billy Gunn, who was aligned with the former stylist when the two were in WWE together. Rico was a manager for MxM Collection, but did get hit with the Fame-ass-er courtesy of Gunn.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Rico revealed that he wanted to wrestle in the match.

“I could, and I wanted to. But I was a manager, and things didn’t happen. I told you off-camera what I thought of, and it was shot down,” he said.

He has not wrestled since 2005.
