Axiom vs. The Miz set for next week’s WWE SmackDown.
The 5/22 edition of WWE SmackDown was the final stop before Saturday Night’s Main Event. During the show, there was a segment between The Miz, Kit Wilson, and Cathy Kelley, who was interviewing them. Kelley was asking The Miz about what might be in Danhausen’s laboratory (referring to a segment that aired on the show), and The Miz said he didn’t care.
Shortly after, Fraxiom interrupted The Miz. Axiom asked Miz to explain why things have been going badly for him lately. He made a guess, saying that the curse is real. The Miz felt that Fraxiom was disrespecting him, so he challenged Axiom to a match next week in Barcelona. Axiom accepted Miz’s challenge.
