Anthony Bowens: A Lot Of The Stuff I’m Saying Since Joining The Opps Is Real

Anthony Bowens talks about joining The Opps and how his current storyline has developed in All Elite Wrestling.

Late last month, Bowens would join The Opps, marking a steep change in his character work and storylines in All Elite Wrestling, having previously been involved in another storyline with former tag team partner Max Caster.

While speaking to Studio One Sports in a new interview, Anthony Bowens spoke about how he’s been feeling over the course of the past few weeks with joining The Opps.

“We’re just, yeah, we’re three weeks into it, and I’m excited for something new and something fresh and something I could really sink my teeth into. It’s something- it’s real, too. A lot of the stuff I’m saying is real. There’s this promo I put up that was about four or five minutes long. It went up on social a couple weeks ago where I just vented, and I spoke my mind, and I spoke my mind in the ring after we won this past Saturday on Collision. Everything is real, and I’m excited to bring that emotion and realness to the character, because I haven’t had the chance to really develop it. There’s been a lot of twists and turns, unforeseen twists and turns over the last year, and that’s part of wrestling and part of life, where you just have to adapt to what’s going on, and now that I’ve found some stable footing, all the ideas and all of the stuff that I really wanted to bring to the character…  I’m going to have the opportunity to do it here and I’m excited to do that.”
