The Godfather: Vince McMahon Has Always Been Good To Me, My Royalty Checks Are Way Down Since He Left
The Godfather comments on Vince McMahon.
In January 2024, Vince McMahon stepped down from his role in TKO. Numerous wrestlers have commented about their relationship with him since then.
Speaking with Sportshadow Wrestling recently, he was asked to share any bizarre Vince McMahon stories he could remember.
“Vince has done so many wild things. Where do you start, bro? I mean, Godfather, Papa Shango’s not even on the list. Dude, he’s a very creative, very smart, very good person. No matter what you hear about him. Don’t believe what you see on TV. He’s always been very good to me and my family. I was at his 80th birthday party. I was invited to that. That whole McMahon family has been nothing but good to me and my family.
Later in the interview, The Godfather spoke about the impact of Vince’s departure on his royalty checks.
“All I will say is the money seemed to be better when Vince was running things, and I’ll let it go at that. But my royalty checks have gone way down since Vince left.”
