The Godfather Says He Signed 5 Year Legends Deal With WWE
The Godfather says he just signed a 5-year Legends Contract with WWE.
WWE introduced its Legends Contract back in 2003. One of the wrestlers they signed on was The Godfather, who has been on since its introduction.
Speaking with Sportshadow Wrestling recently, The Godfather revealed that he signed a new Legends Deal for five years.
“They started that in 2003. That’s when I finished up. I had been on it continuously since 2003. That’s what 23 years I’ve been on it, and they just signed another five-year deal. They just came out with an action figure, some pants. They’ve been so cool with me. But my characters, even though they were short-lived, people remember them.”
It should be noted that in 2023, he renewed his contract for another five years, which shouldn’t end until 2028.
