Jon Moxley Submits Kyle O’Reilly To Retain AEW Continental Championship At Double Or Nothing

The AEW Continental Championship remains in Jon Moxley’s possession.

One of the title matches on the night at AEW Double or Nothing 2026 saw Jon Moxley defend the Continental Championship against Kyle O’Reilly.

Jim Ross returned to the AEW broadcast booth for the match.

In the five singles matches that O’Reilly and Moxley have had against each other in AEW, Moxley has won one, O’Reilly has won two, and the other two matches did not have a decisive victor.

The conclusion of the bout at Double or Nothing saw Moxley submit O’Reilly with a leg/ankle lock. Post-match, the Death Riders (Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta) came out to celebrate with Moxley while The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe & Roderick Strong) came out to support O’Reilly. Moxley and O’Reilly shook hands.

Moxley has been the AEW Continental Champion since December 2025.
