Rey Mysterio Becomes Number One Contender For WWE Intercontinental Title On WWE Raw
Rey Mysterio is in line for an Intercontinental Title match.
On Monday’s Raw, Rey Mysterio became the number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, defeating Rusev.
The bout was set up earlier in the night when Mysterio was taking with the reigning IC Champion Penta, who said it would be an honor to face Mysterio. Ethan Page, and then Rusev, took exception to Mysterio jumping the line, and general manager Adam Pearce made Mysterio vs. Rusev official as a number one contenders match.
