NBA Draft Expert Jay Bilas Open To Providing WWE Draft Coverage

WWE has not held a draft since 2024, but should the event make its return, ESPN analyst and NBA Draft expert Jay Bilas is open to lending a helping hand.

“I wouldn’t say no to that. I love wrestling. I grew up on it,” Bilas told Justin Barrasso of Undisputed. “I really enjoyed it when I was growing up, and my favorite was John Tolos. But the wrestling I watched feels primitive compared to what we see now. With all the pageantry, it’s become this incredible spectacle.”

John Tolos wrestled in the WWWF and was largely active in Canada.

It is unknown if WWE will bring the draft back in 2026. The company has a partnership with ESPN with all WWE PLEs airing on ESPN Unlimited. There has been much crossover between WWE and ESPN since the partnership began in September 2025.
