Roberto Baggio Wishes Gunther Well Ahead Of WWE Clash In Italy

World Cup legend Roberto Baggio sends a message to Gunther.

Speaking to Netflix Italia, Gunther revealed that Roberto Baggio was his favorite Italian football (soccer) player, saying that the 1994 World Cup was the first he remembered watching as a fan.

Baggio scored five goals in the tournament, but Italy finished as the runner-up, losing to Brazil on penalty kicks in the Final.

Netflix then revealed a message from Baggio for “The Ring General.”

“Hi Gunther, it’s Roby. I saw the pictures of you wearing my jersey during training. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I hope all of this brings you good luck for Clash In Italy, and of course, for your life in general. Big hug, see you soon, ciao!” he said.

Gunther is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash in Italy.
