Brie Bella: Sol Ruca And I Are Both Inspired By Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani has inspired millions for decades, including two wrestlers from two different generations.

On the Nikki & Brie Show with Nikki Bell and Brie Bella, Nikki discussed attending the No Doubt show at The Sphere. Brie revealed that she was unable to attend due to her schedule, but did share how she was inspired by No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani.

“Sol Ruca and I were talking because I was like, ‘Do you get some of your [inspiration] from Gwen Stefani?’ When I transitioned to Brie Mode, my mindset was Gwen Stefani because in middle school, I was obsessed with her. With my wrestling gear, I tried to mock her as much as I could, but also have something that was mine. [Sol] was like, ‘Yeah, I’m obsessed with her.’ You think of how far apart in age Sol and I are, but we’re both inspired by Gwen,” said Brie.

Brie is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Paige.

Sol Ruca is set to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title at WWE Clash in Italy.
