Gunther discusses the talent that he has retired from the world of professional wrestling, and which was his favorite moment.

In the past couple of years, Gunther has been responsible for retiring three big stars in WWE, as he has brought an end to the careers of Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles. Now, he has named which one was his favorite moment so far.

While speaking to First Take in a new interview, Gunther was asked which retirement was his favorite so far.

“I don’t think I’m fantasizing about anyone today, besides the WWE Championship. Obviously John Cena, I think, was the biggest impact. I think, yeah, a lot of sad people that night, and I just enjoyed it. I thrive off that, being the disruptor. That night, you should have been there. It felt so heavy to everyone. Everybody was teary-eyed before the event even happened because it meant so much to them, and I’m just in the middle of that, not caring about it and enjoying the chaos that I created. It was a very special night. I’ll remember that for the rest of my life.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Gunther spoke about Cody Rhodes’ need for fans approval. You can read more about that here.
