Penta On Upcoming Title Match With Rey Mysterio : This Is My Dream Match, It’s My Role Model

Penta discusses potentially facing off with Rey Mysterio in a singles match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Penta and Rey have shared the ring once before in WWE, as the pair would both feature in a multi man ladder match with the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line. While Penta would win the match on that night, the current champion is still looking to one day get his dream match with Mysterio with his title on the line.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo in a new interview, Penta was asked about a potential title match with Mysterio, noting that it is his dream match and that Mysterio is his role model.

“Yeah, you know, this is my dream match. because it’s Rey Mysterio, it’s the legend, the greatest of all the times, you know, it’s my role model. So, I don’t know, it’s too much for explaining words, but in my heart, it’s very special this night.”
