LA Knight On Brock Lesnar Royal Rumble Elimination: Things Went Differently Than They Were Supposed To

LA Knight is keeping his Royal Rumble moment close to the chest.

This year’s Royal Rumble event was a wacky one for many reasons, but fans were particularly puzzled when Brock Lesnar was eliminated from the match by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight. This elimination came just five minutes after Lesnar entered the fray.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet for a new interview, Knight noted that things in the match went differently than they were supposed to.

“I did. I’ll tell that story someday, but it feels too new and fresh to me. But I’ll just say things went differently than they were supposed to.“

Lesnar went on to face Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42. After losing that match, it appeared that Lesnar was done with wrestling, as he left his gloves and boots in the ring. Instead, ‘The Beast’ shocked everyone and returned in May to continue his pursuit of Femi.
