Dallas Edwards Returning To Refereeing

The former OVW referee is coming back to the squared circle.
It was at a March 2026 Ohio Valley Wrestling event that referee Dallas Edwards was hit during a planned spot in a match. The match continued, but Edwards began convulsing. A wrestler in the match named Tony Evans moved Edwards out of the way and continued performing his next move on another wrestler.
Edwards’ girlfriend and Ohio Valley Wrestling both released statements on the situation. Edwards was hospitalized with a concussion and subdural hematoma.
After several months away from the ring, Edwards shared that he is returning to refereeing. He had a graphic that included the list of promotions he’s worked at, but OVW was not included.
“Back to reffing!
The recovery hasn’t been an easy one, but there have been amazing people that went above and beyond to make sure that I wasn’t alone.
I will be resuming my schedule from before and taking additional bookings accordingly!!
