Harutoki Out Of NOAH Tag League Tournament Due To Non-Bony Spinal Cord Injury

An injury causes a change in the tournament.

Pro Wrestling NOAH’s NEO Global Tag League tournament is underway, but there has been a change due to injury. Harutoki was teaming with Kaito Kiyomiya, but Harutoki went down with a non-bony spinal cord injury.

As a result of Harutoki being out, Alejandro stepped in and will tag with Kiyomiya. They had their first Tag League match on June 5th.

The National Library of Medicine has the following written about non-bony spinal cord injuries:

“A non-bony spinal cord injury, most commonly referred to as SCIWORA (Spinal Cord Injury Without Radiographic Abnormality) or SCIWORET, is neurological damage to the spinal cord that occurs without any evidence of broken bones, fractures, or spinal column dislocation on standard X-rays or CT scans.”

Harutoki posted a tweet addressing his injury and exit from the tournament:

When the NEO Global Tag League tournament concludes, we’ll update you here on Fightful. Keep up with the results at this link.
