Deonna Purrazzo Names Mercedes Mone And More As Potential Forbidden Door Or Global Wars Opponents
Deonna Purrazzo is the reigning ROH Women’s Pure Champion, and she is ready to take on all challengers.
At ROH Supercard of Honor, Deonna defeated Diamante to retain her Women’s Pure Title.
Speaking to Kate of Fightful after the event, Deonna was asked about a potential opponent in AEW with whom she would like to share the ring.
“Within AEW, there are so many women on Dynamite, Collision, and Ring of Honor that I haven’t wrestled before. Diamanate was one of them; we never had a singles match, ever. We’ve both been wrestling for what feels like forever. I’ve never wrestled Maya World or had a singles match with Athena or Hyan of Zayda Steel. On AEW, I’ve never wrestled Jamie Hayter or Alex Windsor or Kris Statlander or Mercedes, Thekla, Julia Hart. There are so many women who would be great first-time matches.
“Outside of AEW, I would love to wrestle Persephone, for sure. We do have Global Wars with STARDOM involved. I haven’t been to STARDOM in nearly ten years. Hazuki is in the Owen, that would be awesome. There are so many women coming up that I would love to work with one day.”
On Thursday’s ROH TV, Deonna issued an open challenge to anyone brave enough to step up and challenge for the ROH Women’s Pure Title.
