Sami Callihan Confirms TNA Departure

Sami Callihan is reportedly gone from TNA Wrestling.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider first reported that “word making the rounds” is that Callihan has departed the company.

Sami Callihan tweeted, “Very Interesting…” shortly after the news was reported. He later confirmed he has left TNA, writing, “Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure.”

Callihan had been working backstage as a producer. He retired from in-ring competition in August 2025 after losing a street fight to Mike Santana at TNA Emergence. He still runs Wrestling REVOLVER in Ohio.

Callihan’s departure follows that of Tommy Dreamer, who announced he would be leaving the company on Wednesday.

On the talent side, TNA has lost Tessa Blanchard, Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, and Dani Luna in recent months.

Fightful will provide more information on Callihan’s departure when it is known.
