Tony Khan Says The Door Is Open For Sareee At AEW

Sareee was scheduled to compete at AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster, but was not cleared due to a neck injury. The injury was known ahead of time as she’s been out of the ring since May and it was unclear if she would be cleared by AEW doctors to compete.
Maya World ended up taking her place against Skye Blue in a first round match in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
On Thursday, Sareee wrote on social media, “I was very disappointed that I couldn’t participate in this great tournament and I apologize to the fans who were excited for it. I definitely want to return to AEW. Looking forward to that day.”
Tony Khan replied, “No apologies are necessary! Heal up, good luck in your recovery, and you’re welcome to come back here anytime, the door to @AEW is open for you!”
