Cody Rhodes Set To Defend WWE Title Against Gunther & Sami Zayn At WWE Night Of Champions

Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn set for WWE Night of Champions.

During the 6/19 WWE SmackDown, fans saw a rematch between Cody Rhodes and Gunther for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Initially, The American Nightmare won this match after Zayn, the special guest referee, counted a quick pin. The bout was restarted, and this time, Zayn attacked Gunther, resulting in a disqualification. Read more about this here.

Later in the show, Rhodes asked SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to book a triple threat match against Gunther and Zayn. The match was made official for WWE Night of Champions.
