Adam Pearce: Eric André Put 100 Percent Of His Trust Into Jacob Fatu On WWE Raw

The Raw G.M. spoke about the segment involving Eric André and Jacob Fatu.
The June 13th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix kicked off with The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso).
As their in-ring portion concluded, they were headed up the entrance stage and stopped to greet comedian and actor Eric André. André began to play with the brown Ula Fala that Reigns gifted to Jacob Fatu to officially welcome him into The Bloodline.
Fatu proceeded to pull André over the barricade, beat him down, and then got the green light from Reigns to hit a splash off the top rope onto the celebrity.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce spoke about the segment during a podcast appearance he did for DIBS presented by Chicago History. He stated that André put his full trust in Fatu to not legitimately hurt him.
“So he’s there, he’s in the front row, people are recognizing him but they’re not expecting Jacob Fatu to yank him over the guardrail and manhandle him and that is exactly what Jacob did. All kudos to Eric André. Again, it goes back to the trust that I was talking about earlier. He put 100 percent of his trust into Jacob Fatu to not maim him and cripple him, but to make it look like that’s exactly what happened, and to kind of be in the periphery and as you said, screaming my head off. I’m always losing my mind on Mondays.”
