As we inch closer and closer to the crossover pay-per-view later this month, the Owen Hart Cup finals have been set as on the women’s side, Maya World will take on Mercedes Mone. On the men’s side, the finals will feature Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland, who will face off with one another for the second time at the pay-per-view.

In a new digital exclusive, The Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia would have words for Swerve, noting that he is going to ‘Swerve right off the road to Wembley’ in the near future.

“The first Dynamite of 2024 was Swerve Strickland against Daniel Garcia, and this was supposed to be a showcase, this was supposed to be a rising of the two new young faces that was gonna push this company forward, and one of us did. Swerve, you won that match, and you won a lot of matches, and you won the world title, and (had) your main event at Wembley Stadium. Now I just see you and you’re just a different guy. You’re drunk off power. You’re high and mighty and you’ve become a despicable, disgusting human being. You’re not alone in that because I’m all the same, and if you think that this is just gonna be a pebble on your road to Wembley Stadium, a shard of glass in the road, you’re gonna swerve right off the road to Wembley.”

Marina Shafir would cap off the promo by playing off of Strickland’s ‘Whose House’ catchphrase.

“Whose house? Pussy.”

Elsewhere in another digital exclusive, Maya World would discuss making the finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup. You can read more about that here.
