Robbie X reflects on competing in the 2026 Best Of The Super Juniors tournament, noting his belief that it was life-changing.
Across the past couple of years, Robbie has featured as part of both Best Of The Super Juniors tournament, serving as a replacement in last year’s tournament, leading to him featuring as part of the field for this years. While he did not reach the semi finals in either year, Robbie still believes the tournament this year was life-changing for him.
While speaking to SonaIsLife in a new interview, Robbie X spoke about competing in the Best Of The Super Juniors tournament.
“You know what? I feel like it’s changed my life for the good. I went in there just going 100% all the time, no matter how beaten up I was, obviously, because my first match was against Nick Wayne, and then I had a busted eye, a massive scar down my face, and then I had to wrestle with that. But honestly, this year’s Best of the Super Juniors was a life-changing tournament for me, I think. I think I made people realize that I can go even harder than last year’s Super Juniors, and then the love the fans gave me in Japan was unreal. I’ve never felt anything like that before. So not only my wrestling ability, but my connection to the fans now feels 10 times more than they ever have ever in the 20 years of wrestling.”
Robbie would win an award for his performance in this year’s tournament. You can read more about that here.
