Enzo Amore recalls joining WWE and getting a new ring name, noting that he wrote down a list of 20 names for approval.

Amore is currently working under the ring name Real1 on the independent wrestling scene, but is more known by the name that he wrestled under while signed to WWE.

While speaking to Emilio Sparks in a new interview, Enzo Amore spoke about the process of being given a ring name, noting that he wrote down a list of 20 names, and he was the last of his class to get a name.

“I wrote down a list of 20 names. Every time they asked me to submit names, I submitted Enzo Amore. Within a week of getting there, I got there with like 20, 30 other people. They all got fired. The only people that made it was Charlotte, Baron Corbin, and Mojo Rawley, and I was the last guy to get a name.”

Last month, it was reported that promoters were working under the assumption that Amore is on his way back to WWE. You can read more about that here.
