Cassidy has faced off with some of the top names in AEW since the companies inception in 2019, but has yet to capture the AEW World Championship in his career so far. Cassidy has previously faced off with the current champion MJF, but now claims that he is ducking him.
Wile speaking to the Extreme Channel in a new interview, Orange Cassidy spoke about opponents that he would like to wrestle in the future, including MJF.
“So it’s kind of crazy because there are still… like the fact that I haven’t wrestled Lio Rush before until recently is, is kind of nuts. There are a ton of people that, I think would be very, very interesting having a match with, there are a lot of, like- I haven’t touched Kevin Knight yet. I don’t know. That seems to be something, that he and I, would like to (have) and I’ve only wrestled MJF once cause he keeps ducking me cause he knows what happens when he wrestles me, he’ll lose. But, that’s a great thing about AEW is I think, there are still all of these avenues and different wrestler dynamics that haven’t been explored yet. That’s promising for the future, I think.”
