Thekla: I’m Looking Forward To Facing Persephone One On One At Some Point

Thekla speaks on looking forward to potentially facing Persephone one on one at some point after their previous clash in CMLL.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling last year, Thekla has clashed with some of the top women’s talent that the company has to offer, facing off with the likes of Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander and more. Now, she has turned her attention to a previous rival following AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door later this week.

While speaking to Clutchpoints in new interview, Thekla addressed potentially facing off with CMLL’s Persephone, referencing the previous times the two women have shared a ring.

 “Well, Persephone and I have had a little bit of an exchange before, one time in CMLL and one time in AEW. And when we were facing each other in CMLL, it was down to me and her after one hour. Almost one-hour match that we were having with a bunch of other b**hes. She actually happened to win‌ that particular match. So I’m looking forward to, you know, face her in a one-on-one situation at some point.”
