Tavion Heights believes that there are talents in NXT that are currently ready to walk into their first ever WrestleMania appearance.
Heights has spent the last couple of years competing on the WWE NXT brand, but has yet to capture a singles title on the brand. He will look to change that this weekend as he competes at The Great American Bash for the WWE NXT North American Championship.
While speaking to the Battleground podcast in a new interview, Tavion Heights was asked if he still considers NXT to be developmental, with the former No Quarter Catch Crew member disagreeing with that suggestion, noting that there are members of the NXT roster ready for a WrestleMania debut.
“Not at all. I mean, my argument to that would be, if NXT was developmental, then how six months later after Oba was called up, was he at WrestleMania? Did it take six months of development on the main roster to be WrestleMania ready? No. So we have talent here in NXT currently, right now, ready for a WrestleMania debut. Absolutely, for sure.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Heights spoke about being on a similar level to Jacob Fatu in some aspects. You can read more about that here.
