Will Ospreay comments on his fall on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite and what was going through his head at the time.

On this past week’s edition of AEW Dynamite prior to the Death Riders being in action on the show, the faction would do their signature group dance in their locker room, with Ospreay falling over in the process, leading to a comedic moment where Marina Shafir would bring him back to his feet after the other members of the faction left Will on the ground, laughing at his own fall.

While speaking to Kron 4 in a new interview, Will Ospreay commented on his fall on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

“Bruv, I couldn’t believe that. Like, I have made a name for myself from landing on my feet. I can’t spin three times in a circle without tripping over my own blimmin’ feet, mate.”

Ospreay was then asked what went through his head following the fall.

“‘You shit it.’ I was generally sat there, like, and Jon and Wheeler and… Claudio looked at me and was like, ‘none of you guys are going to help me up?’ Yeah, but Marina helped me up. Marina did it. She understood, and that was the funny bit about it. He was saying, like, ‘whenever you get knocked down, we get back up,’ and I fell down. Hey, perfect day. Live TV.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Will spoke about the most memorable moments of his AEW career so far. You can read more about that here.
